Tips to make the most out of your vacation with and without kids
the Cíes Islands are an archipelago off the coast of Pontevedra in Galicia (Spain), in the mouth of the Ria de Vigo. They were declared a Nature Reserve in 1980 and are included in the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park. Cies is one of the most beautiful islands in Europe (according to the Guardian) and the top from the top five Spanish beaches (according to The Sunday Times). THINGS TO DO Age: 2-3 years old Hiking! Elia was 2 and a half years old when we visited the Cies Island and it was the perfect toddler age. She did a lot of walking and when she got tired she would sit on my shoulders. If you are traveling with a two year old or younger, I would recommend bringing a carrier or a stroller. There are 4 routing hiking routes. Some are long some and steep so pick the one you are most comfortable with. Playing on the sand at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world was the highlight of this visit. The turquoise blue water was something I will not forget. Visit the small museum located at Faro island. Go snorkeling, kayaking or take a guided tour, just book in advance with the ferry company or the camping. The ferry company we took, offered a free guided tour. TRAVEL TIPS

I waited until Elia turned 6 and had her second round of vaccines to travel internationally. As soon as she was all set, we were on our way to Lima, Peru to meet the rest of my family. We were in Lima for two weeks which gave us plenty of time to visit friends and family. PLACES TO GO & THINGS TO DO Age: 6 months Okay, so at 6 months old there is not a whole lot of activities for your baby to do but there is plenty to see. Lima is busy city 24/7, your baby will be easily entertained by simply watching all the cars, people, billboards and tons of city lights at night. This was a family trip so we spend most of our days visiting friends and family. TRAVEL TIPS Age: 6 months
